Our nag champa incense is the real thing. Indian incenses containing Plumeria, known in the West as Frangipani, have Champa in their name. This is dhuni’s take on the most classic incense of them all, hand made and absolutely chemical free. Likely to be the only genuine Nag Champa you’ll ever come across, and very special. Bhakti Incense Blend

Here at dhuni we’re very pleased to announce the launch of a new blend we’re calling ‘Bhakti’: the Sanskrit word for devotion. Bhakti is a a very thick, deluxe stick with a rich base and oil and more floral high notes than our other dhuni blends. Imagine a floral spice mix rooted in the smoke of Indian temples and you’ll be getting somewhere close. This one to burn in a yoga room while the morning sun streams through the windows, or in a meditation room before your favourite Buddha. Moksha Incense Blend

Moksha natural incense sticks are currently being raved about by yoga teachers the world over. In Indian religions, moksha is the liberation from samsara. This fragrance is our testament to the woody smells of a sadhu’s sacred fireplace, evoking timeless devotion, and a reverence for the earth. Khus Incense Blend

Chrysopogon zizanioides, commonly known as Vetiver (derived from Tamil), is a perennial grass of the Poaceae family, native to India. In western and northern India, it is popularly known as khus.The stems are tall and the leaves are long, thin, and rather rigid; the flowers are brownish purple. It is known for its calming and cooling effect on both mind and body, and is considered “the scent of tranquility” in India. (11 sticks)

Hari Om Incense Blend

Hari is the 650th name of Lord Vishnu and Om represents the Shabda Brahman: the sound of God. We called this fragrance Hari Om because it should be burnt with reverence. An earthy blend of bass notes, woody spice, and floral overtones. (7-8 extra thick sticks)

Kashi Incense Blend

Natural incense sticks from dhuni. Kashi is the sacred name of Varanasi, India’s holiest city, and therefore a suitable name for this secret blend of herbs and resins. Gathered from the foothills of the Himalayas, the jungles of Kerala, and the plains of Madhya Pradesh, these ingredients are rare and sought after by incense connoisseurs. A perfect balance of high, middle and low notes, kashi is a fragrance to be savoured. (6-7 extra thick sticks)

Citronella Incense Blend

Citronella (Lemongrass) natural incense is not made from a charcoal stick dipped in lemongrass oil but from 100% plant botanicals hand rolled onto a bamboo stick. This is the old fashioned method, and much more time consuming, but I think you’ll find the results quite extraordinary! dhuni Citronella (lemongrass) is a pure smelling mosquito repelling delight, created from wild crafted Indian lemongrass, dried under the sun, then ground and rolled onto sticks with a secret blend of other herbs and spices. The lemongrass benefits are said to be: detoxifying, stimulating digestion, and improving the quality of the skin. Also known by the name Sweet Rush or Fever Grass in the Caribbean, the lemongrass plant be used as a remedy for ague, fevers, and colds. (9 thick sticks)

Amber Incense Blend

Our amber incense sticks are extraordinary. Amber (or, technically, resinite) is fossilized tree resin, which has been appreciated for its colour, beauty and fragrance since Neolithic times. Our sticks pack an incredible scent wallop of vanilla like earthy resin, as one would expect from a stick with this much pure ground amber in it! Luxurious and sweet. (8-9 thick sticks)
