Citronella Incense Blend

dhuni Citronella (Lemongrass) natural incense is not made from a charcoal stick dipped in lemongrass oil but from 100% plant botanicals hand rolled onto a bamboo stick. This is the old fashioned method, and much more time consuming, but I think you’ll find the results quite extraordinary! dhuni Citronella (lemongrass) is a pure smelling mosquito repelling delight, created from wild crafted Indian lemongrass, dried under the sun, then ground and rolled onto sticks with a secret blend of other herbs and spices. The lemongrass benefits are said to be: detoxifying, stimulating digestion, and improving the quality of the skin. Also known by the name Sweet Rush or Fever Grass in the Caribbean, the lemongrass plant be used as a remedy for ague, fevers, and colds.

This is a bright, upbeat incense fragrance which many of our customers burn purely for the smell, regardless of its proven effects are repelling insects. We think this may be a first amongst lemongrass incense sticks! As with all our products, they’re handmade and so each stick is different. Store them in a dry place, free from moisture, and burn them in an incense dish to collect the ash. Also very useful for sticking in the earth around the garden during those summer barbeques to keep away the mozzies when trying to have your dinner!

Citronella usually smells like washing up liquid. Your version is a pure pleasure and keeps the blighters away pretty well too.

Thought it was a bit expensive at first but decided to go for it anyway. So glad I did. This is like fine wine.
