Unlike certain of our competitors Dhuni natural incense sticks are healthy, non toxic, and made from entirely natural ingredients. We handpick all the botanicals from either wild sustainably managed sources, or commercial organic sources, and then dry, roll, and package every one by hand. In fact we don’t imagine any other company in the world can really compare when it comes to natural incense. We take immense amounts of time and care over every stick, and we don’t think of this as a business but as an artform.
None of our plant materials are chemically treated in any way, and we don’t add any synthetic burning agents, preservatives, or fragrances. Many of our competitors spray essential oils onto the sticks, which is a fairly easy way of making charcoal powder smell very strongly. A far more difficult art is to capture the smell of natural plant botanicals, to dry them all in a way which preserves their odour, and to then handroll them onto slender sticks of wood so that they burn evenly and subtly, and last a long long time. We want to enrich our customers health, not detract from it.
Our natural incense sticks are so extraordinary that we keep receiving emails from people who feel they’ve just discovered what incense should really smell like. ‘What a beautiful, magical product you’re making’, a recent email concluded, ‘I feel proud every time I light one in my yoga shala.’
Anyway, enough boasting from us, but we’re just happy to be doing something well and to be appreciated. Check out our range below and let us know how you like em.
Dhuni Natural Incense sticks are absolutely pure.
