A lot of people ask us about spice incense. This seems to be a generic term which people associate with good incense and also, perhaps, conjures up a suitably Eastern fragrance in the imagination. The answer is that all Dhuni is actually spice incense. Our secret blends all contain 100% natural plant botanicals, either organically sourced, wildcrafted, or literally picked from nature by our team. These are harvested selectively and dried in the sun, then ground manually in vast pestles and mortar in order to reduce them to the fine bark, flower, resin, and spice powders which we blend to our specific requirements.
So the first thing is that any Dhuni incense is a spice blend. More specifically, nag champa, and moksha have particularly spicy overtones, underlaid with some earthy bass notes drawn from some of the most fragrant members of the Indian botanical family. We can guarantee you won’t find a more stunning spice incense that this anywhere in the world. Please let us know if you do because we’d sure as heck like to smell it!
